Hello and welcome to Au Pair Link!

We are a family owned and operated business based in New Zealand and Sweden. Au Pair Link is the daughter company of Transnational Education Limited (TEAB) which has been providing language training and educational courses in Sweden since 1990.

Au Pair Link is more than a business – it is a labour of love.  Our story begins in 2004 when I was an Au Pair for a family in the United States. I cared for 5 year old twins named Alison and Elisabeth. These two special girls had a tremendous impact on me and inspired the formation of Au Pair Link. Au Pair Link is dedicated to “my girls” (Alison and Elisabeth), their wonderful parents and family.

Through establishing Au Pair Link it is my goal to help other Au Pairs and families share similar, unforgettable experiences.

Au Pair Link has four directors. In Sweden, Kicki Hall is the primary contact for our Au Pairs. With more than 25 years in the education industry and three University degrees (Bachelor of Economics, Bachelor of Teaching and Bachelor of Student Counselling) Kicki brings invaluable experience to the company.

Ian Hall (Managing Director of TEAB) is currently building the educational and training arm of the business. Ian, with an honours degree in Economics from London University, works with some of Sweden’s major corporate businesses providing educational and language training courses. In New Zealand I am joined by my partner and co-director James Robinson as well as Peter Hall, my brother, who provides IT support.

First and foremost we are a family business. We believe that honesty and trust are the cornerstones for a great relationship with your Au Pair and a successful business!

Since establishing Au Pair Link we have grown rapidly and today we have families registered with us throughout New Zealand and Au Pairs from all corners of Sweden.

We provide end-to-end services and support that include:

  • An initial consultation to understand your specific family requirements
  • Tailored advertising to find your Au Pair (currently on Sweden’s # 1 job website)
  • Complete background checks (including police and medical)
  • Personality and English tests to ensure a suitable fit with your family
  • A meeting in person to present and discuss shortlisted candidates – summary document provided
  • Verbal reference checks conducted – written transcripts provided
  • Organisation of visa, flights and insurance
  • Ongoing support and activities for your Au Pair throughout the year

At Au Pair Link we understand that it is not easy to bring a new person into your family. Therefore, we keep working with you and your Au Pair right the way through the year. This is just part of the Au Pair Link difference and our commitment to you.

I look forward to meeting you and your family and helping to create some unforgettable memories!

Warmest regards,

Cecilia Hall
