Prior to placement
- Initial consultation to understand your specific family requirements.
- Tailored advertising (to suit your specific Au Pair requirements) on two of Sweden's most popular job websites.
- Access to pre-screened candidates through our extensive database.
- Complete background check of your Au Pair including:
- Birth certificate
- Drivers license and/or passport
- Police record
- Medical records
- Reference checks (two reference checks completed and transcripts provided to the family, contact details of the Au Pair's referees available)
- School transcripts
- Other certificates and diplomas awarded.
- Interview with your Au Pair either in person (in major Swedish cities) or via the phone including:
- 1 and half hour interview (complete overview of your Au Pairs capabilities, needs and strengths)
- Personality and English test.
- For our Au Pairs we will also conduct a family reference check and provide the Au Pair with the transcript as well as the opportunity to speak to the referee via the telephone.
- Upon completion of the screening process we will meet with your family in person (currently only in Auckland) and provide you with documentation which contains:
- Your complete Au Pair overview (personal information)
- Interviewer's notes on your Au Pair
- Contact details of your Au Pair.

Upon placement
- Flights - Recommending/booking flights for your Au Pair in accordance with your preferred arrival time.
- Visa - Help and guidance through the visa process and discussing alternatives with your Au Pair regarding the most applicable and suitable visa type.
- Insurance - Providing help and guidance to make sure that your Au Pair is insured with an appropriate plan.
- Support for your Au Pair in Sweden prior to departure.
- Comprehensive "Welcome Pack" provided to your Au Pair about your family including generic and family specific childcare information.
- Comprehensive "Welcome Pack" provided to families including "what to do during your first week together".

Upon arrival
- A welcome phone call to "check in" and iron out any issues during the first week with your new Au Pair.
- Connecting your Au Pair with others living and working in the same area and helping them make friends quickly - aiding integration into Kiwi life and keeping your Au Pair happy!
- Providing your family and Au Pair with ongoing support including:
- Mediation between you and your Au Pair should it be necessary
- 24/7 support for your Au Pair and your family - should something go wrong we are only a phone call away.
- English language and childcare courses offered in Auckland from January/February 2008 (may start earlier depending on demand).

Prior to departure
- Organising the return flight with your Au Pair.
- 1 hour student counselling session (conducted by a professional counsellor) to advise your Au Pair on what to do upon their return home.
- Initiating the process again to find your next Au Pair.

Our pricing
- Standard family registration is $170.00 NZD.
- Emergency family registration (for placement within 6-8 weeks) is $250.00 NZD.
- Standard registration is non-refundable. $80.00 NZD will be refunded if we are unable to place within 6-8 weeks for emergency family registration only.
- To register as an Au Pair is free. To complete the process a payable amount of 200 kr is due (NZ$40), however this is refunded after a successful term of 12 months.
